The sound of glass breaking echoes off of the walls as the cup of water falls. It happens in slow motion. Mako slaps his palm to his forehead, gripping slightly. His eyes go wide and his body convulses twice. It’s all so…dramatic.

“Not this again.” Bolin throws his hands up, because this is obviously a normal occurrence. Korra only joined the Ferrets a week ago, but she didn’t think that was too early to notice some things were, well…off about her captain. 

The fact that he seemed to know everything about anything. Somethings she didn’t quite know herself yet. (Although she chalked that him being a know it all jackass who constantly had his nose in everyone’s affairs.) And now this, whatever the hell was going on. It was freaky. 

Mako comes too with another shake, throwing a hand out onto Bolin’s shoulder to steady himself, who is still looking exasperated. Mako takes a deep breath, he opens his eyes slowly scanning the surroundings of the revelrous bar they’re in.

“We have to get out of here.” Mako orders, brushing through a space between Bolin and Korra making his way to the door with purpose. 

Bolin and Korra turn towards each other then the door Mako rushed through. “And we’re supossed to just follow?” Korra raises an eyebrow, she’s not used to this falling back business.

“You learn to live with it.” Bolin shrugs.
